Throughout her career, Dorothy has held positions at People magazine, In Touch Weekly, Life & Style Weekly - and even the National Enquirer!
For years, she interviewed celebrities on- and off-camera at the hottest red carpet events (Think: White House Correspondents Dinner and MTV VMAs) and appeared on every major television network and show (Hello Wendy Williams and Chelsea Handler!) discussing entertainment news and celebrity trends as a go-to expert.
She practically lived in a hair and make-up chair - and it was all such a dream come true!
When the magazine industry started struggling, Dorothy knew it was time to pivot.
So she launched her own production company and became one of the first-ever “influencers” - years before Instagram existed.
Through ground media tours and satellite media tours (SMTs), she appeared on morning shows across the country showcasing hundreds of “must-have” consumer brands to millions of viewers. She booked, produced and hosted these segments around timely lifestyle themes, and secured major brand sponsors including Dyson, Godiva, Bacardi, Aveeno and so many more.
For decades, Dorothy was the trusted voice for brands and the relatable, in-the-know ‘bestie’ for all things new and trending for viewers -- and yep, she still is.
