Closed out January with the perfect event at my dear friend, Julie’s house …. You all know her from my podcast and her new initiative - The Gifted Life.

Together @iamjulievincent and Carly Ridloff of @the.exchangeproject hosted an incredible day - delicious juices from @barvidajuicebar , homemade chia seed pudding and energy bites , a thought-provoking convo about purpose moderated by the amazing @themichellegarside (who I finally got to meet in person) and shopping pre-loved pieces after.

As much as I do love being on the mic … I realized in this afternoon that I also need to be a guest at events…an observer…not “on” so I can clear space for my own personal and professional growth outside of my home and role as mom - with amazing people and energies in the room - @thatpennylife_ @zac.mathias and the other wonderful women I met that day.

Pulled the craziest card from Julie’s deck - the Chamber of Transformation card - and it def stuck with me bc I have been transforming for a few years now and am certainly nowhere near done!

Dinner out for my husband’s bday with his family who I’m so grateful to also call my family, cheering on my amazing son at his state champs swim meet in Cheshire CT, taking my cutie daughter to a little friend’s bday party at @thecubhousegreenwich and then carving out time amidst momming to spend a pleasantly cold night in New York City with friends who are family at a restaurant that means so much to me (Barbounia was the first date spot for the hubs and I back in 2010!) were all such joyful ways to close out one month and usher in another.

With Season 2 of That Greenwich Life officially wrapped … it feels so good to be a little more present, a little less stressed and have a tiny bit more time for gratitude.

🤯We are living in a moment of constant overload — mentally, emotionally, and digitally. Our brains were never designed to take in this much information: endless notifications, nonstop content, and the pressure to always be doing more.

🧘🏼‍♀️This conversation is an honest reflection on slowing down in a world that rewards productivity, multitasking, and optimization. I’m unpacking why multitasking isn’t the badge of honor we’ve been taught it is, how information overload is draining our energy, and why learning to work smarter — not harder — starts with discernment around our time and attention.
